Confidential File -Secret Chapters- Directory

Because the content I've translated / scanned from this book is scattered across this blog on multiple pages, I've decided to put together a directory of the content in the book so readers can more easily find what they're looking for. Please note that as I haven't translated the entire book and god knows I probably never will, the unlinked sections below are not (yet?) included on this blog. If anyone's still reading this long-neglected blog, this would be the place to request specific translations in the comments, though! Prologue Q&A For Strangers in Paradise This section primarily teaches how to play the game so it's likely I won't be translating it. Settings File Mission & Battle File Challenge File Secret 1: Story & World Study Character Profiles  View them all in one post at the link above, or individually: Jack Ash Jed Neon Sophia Astos Sarah Bikke King of Cornelia Minister Lagone Queen Jayne Mia Lufenian Darkness Manifest Tiamat Marilith...

One Spirit's Missive Complete Text

 Additional missives from Different Future.

One Spirit's Missive I

Concerning Myself The Will of Harmony that exists within me - the will she left behind - longs for a stable future. If that be the case, then I shall serve that will in place of the two departed gods. I was born from it, after all.

One Spirit's Missive II

My Role The worlds are ever changing, and the old gives way to the new. As one world waxes, my own wanes, becoming a mere shadow of its former self. There is a future for me - but first I must ensure that it comes to pass. That is my role - that is her will - and for that reason, I will nurture the darkness of despair and the light of hope here in this dimension, guiding them as the two gods of my world.

That is also why I must eliminate the interference in this dimension and grant him the necessary power.

One Spirit's Missive III

To Guide to the Seat of Divinity The darkness and light of this world are powerful indeed, but they are not yet enough. If they are to hold dominion over my home, they must win the approval of the one who is equal to the gods and must themselves posses divine authority.

A soul equal to the gods in this godless world; I shall furnish the dragon king that he might bestow his blessings upon them. He knows well man's ferocity in the face of despair and should gladly help them in their struggle. And then, with the dragon king's favor, light and darkness both may find the seat of divinity within reach.

One Spirit's Missive IV

The Lufenians Just as the _____ of my world created an ore from which they could forge an approximation of life, so too have the Lufenians of this world created a power to rival that of the gods who create nothingness and life.

This must be causality, and it delights me to no end. To think that those who reject gods would be the very same who plant the seeds of their birth. Everything needed for the future I desire is falling into place. All that is left is for him to claim the Lufenians' power.

One Spirit's Missive V

The Edge of Space-Time This metropolis is where the Lufenians once lived, monitoring the world's light and darkness. Though it boased a highly developed culture and prospered as a location connecting numerous periods in time, it overnight fell to ruin at the hands of a single Lufenian. While wearing the mask of a god, this Lufenian decries their existence; with technology that achieves the divine, he rules with a godly fist. I must put an end to this farce at once.

Lufenian Report Analysis

The following passages expand upon existing Lufenian Report data. The Strangers' True Identity The Lufenians are using humans gathered from other planets to manage the balance of light and darkness in Cornelia. Without knowing this truth, Jack and his companions simply assume they are Lufenian, and consider Station 19 their homeland. In addition, their clothing (their starting equipment) are from their real homeland. Mechanisms of Recreation Lufenians use the term "reset" to describe using the power of the dimensional crystal matrix to go back in time and reconstruct the world.  The Lufenians have used this technology to control the balance of light and darkness through trial and error. In the event of a reset, the lives and memories of the Cornelians are rewound, but a portion of their memories remain in the world as a black mist. Interdimensional Collaborator The collaborator who initiated the Stranger Project has often advised the Lufenians since then, while requesting...

Extra Fool's Missives Complete Text

These Fool's Missives do not appear in game and are only published alongside the enemy data files in Confidential File. The numbering starts anew, as they're a separate collection of missives. They are also clearly written by Astos, but I'm not confident in my ability to reproduce his writing style, so please bear with my translations. It's also possible that the monsters' names are localized differently than the direct translations I'm taking from the book. I'll do my best to match the English localization, but if I miss anything, please leave a comment and let me know. Fool's Missive Extra I Goblin, Goblin Guard, Bogeyman Discards of Lufenian experimentation, some sort of creature that holds knowledge" Their appearance so hideous they wear masks to conceal it, they attack humans. Is it because they have been inflicted with darkness and have lost their sense of self, or do they indiscriminately attack of their own accord...? I suppose that the gobl...
